Terasynth Inks Deal with Aviator Assistant - Flight Navigation Software
Aug 3, 2022
Coming off the heels of Air Venture 2022, Terasynth has signed a multi-year partnership with flight navigation software provider, Aviator Assistant.
Aviator Assistant is a Florida-based electronic flight bag (EFB) software company that specializes in providing flight planning, navigation, and mapping services for pilots in partnership with flight schools and airlines.
“Pilots in the simulator will have access to the same flight planning and navigation tools they’ll use in real life cockpits in the sky.”
"It only makes sense.", Aviator Assistant CEO, Daniel Curtis, said of the deal. "Our software is already helping both experienced and student pilots navigate challenges in the air. [This partnership] gives us the opportunity to help them in the simulator as well.", he went on to say.
The partnership will add an extensive network of up-to-date, real world data to Terasynth and Terasynth's Track While Scan video game offerings.
"It provides us with an opportunity to serve the general aviation and commercial markets.", said Ali Mahvan, CEO of Terasynth. "Previously we've focused on military and enterprise application, but this partnership expands our reach and abilities significantly and allows us to provide great value to the general aviation and commercial training markets.", he said.
Real time weather, SIDS and STARs, approach plates, IFR charts, VFR charts, real time TFRs, flight planning, and more are expected to be prominent features of the deal.
"Pilots in the simulator will have access to the same flight planning and navigation tools they'll use in real life cockpits in the sky." Mahvan said. "This will make the training that much more authentic, as they'll review their simulation flights in real flight software".
